Igor
Revyakin was born in August, 30,1957 in Moscow,
Russia.1989 Igor began working as a professional artist. As
a painter he participated in art-exhibitions in Moscow,
San-Francisco, Berlin, New-York. He had three personal
exhibition in Norfolk, USA. In 1995 Igor Revyakin started
working as a cartoonist in the newspaper "The Moscow
Times", published by Independent Media. Besides as
free-lancer he worked for "The Capital", "The
Economist",
4 Russian humor magazines and 7 newspapers. In 2000 on
the 12th Caricature Bienaial “Humoristic art in the world”,
which took place in Italy Igor Revyakin had the special
mention for the validity of the message and the technical
correctness. He is one of 10 top-finalists of CARTOON
CONTEST ANTI-SMOKING/TOBACCO in Florida 2001. |
